CIS Equipment Sale Aug 16th & 17th

It's hard to believe that hockey season is only a few months away. With that, we are pleased to announce another equipment sale.

Here is what you need to know:

IF YOU WANT TO SELL 

Vendors are asked to register by emailing clippericesports.fundraising@gmail.com to register for the sale. Please include the following information: Name, phone number, mailing address, and advising whether you will be picking up or donating your unsold items after the sale.

When we receive this information, you will be sent a vendor number, which will be used to on the sales tag sheet attached.

Clippers Ice Sports (CIS) assumes no responsibility for missing items, items with missing tags, or items that are tagged without member numbers. All items without a member number or items with lost or missing tags that have not been picked up from the "no tag or no member number" pile at the end of the sale will be donated to the Niverville Thrift Store.

All items are to be in gently used condition. Items that are deemed soiled, torn, or heavily used will be removed from the sale floor and returned to the vendor. We wish to establish a reputation of selling only good quality items. Please consider this while sorting you sale items.

All items are to be tagged prior to arriving at the sale. There is not sufficient time to price items at the sale. The changing of tags during the sale is prohibited and prices are to remain fixed for the duration of the sale.

Only use tags found on the attached document. Your member number must appear on both sides of the tags.

Please use only safety pins for tagging sale items. Pin the short part of the tag only (on the left hand side) do not pin or tape both sides of the tag. This makes de-tagging difficult and slows down the selling process. Do not use staples, packing tape or straight pins. This may cause the tags to rip and/or potentially hurt someone who is looking through the clothing or damage the item.
Keep the description short and concise. In the event that a tag and sale item are separated, this description may help the volunteers match them together again.
Items are to be priced in $1.00 increments.

Vendors are responsible for placing their items on the sale in the proper locations at the drop-off.

Drop off of Sale Items

 

Drop off starts at 6 pm on Monday (August 16th).

Pick Up of Unsold/Rejected Sale Items

Pick up of unsold or rejected items will be between 9:15-10pm, Tuesday (August 17th). The executive will have sorted all unsold items by member number. Please locate your pile and load your items as quickly as possible.

These will be an area after the sale for lost tags/no tags/unsellable items that were found during the sale. Please remember to check this area before you leave. Any unclaimed items in this area will be donated at the end of the sale.
A $3.00 fee will be withdrawn from all vendors' proceed to pay for postage of the envelope, containing your tags and cheque.

Cheques will be mailed out approximately 4 weeks after the sale.

IF YOU WANT TO SHOP

 

Shoppers:

Please used open top containers to shop i.e. totes, wagons, boxes, etc

While we appreciate your desire to help speed things up, the sale team must do de-tagging.

Once you have paid for your merchandise, please exit the sale immediately.

Current CIS families may pay by cheque with your vendor # in the memo section or by cash. A $25.00 fee will be charges for NSF cheques. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted.
General public must use cash to purchase any items from the sale.

When sorting out all of your great finds, please refrain from leaving a pile of unwanted items on the floor. We rely on having items in the designated areas so they have the best chance of finding a new home. If you see an unwanted pile please let a volunteer know.
